My sister & brother-in-law are going to be adopting a baby. They are really excited and I won't be able to go to her baby shower. I made this quilt for her new baby girl, and got to use four techniques from my new book, Manipulating Fabric.
A few pinwheels, which might just be my favorite way to piece a quilt. This one is different because your don't sew the pinwheels into the fabric, instead you fold your material in fours and sew them onto the exterior of the square.
