I took half of Amy's hair and put it in a half-up. Instead of bringing all of the hair through I pulled it half way out and pieced out the remaining hair. I left a small piece of hair up front to swoop across her bang section. I made a curly-Q and added a small clip. I pieced out the remaining hair again. ( If they have really fine hair I would add gel or some kind of piecing goo). I use the cheap gel that you buy at Family Dollar for a buck, and I use L'oreal Professionnel define texture paste. You can buy it in the Logan mall in a store by Dillards.) I put a little gel in her hair that was left down because she has beautiful natural curl hidden down there.
I took my cat tail comb and pieced her hair in sections. Whenever I am going to braid and have them go across I always start the braid down by the ear so it goes all the way across when I pin them in. I use lots of non-breaking elastics. I did a whole bunch of messy half pull throughs. I took a piece of hair that I used to swoop across her left ear and attach around one of the back half pull throughs.
On the bottom two sections I braided and crossed the braids. I always put non-breaking elastic on the ends and attach with bobby pins. I like to get rid of the ends so you don't see them by wrapping them around one of the half pull throughs.
Boogie had an easy hair-do. I put her hair in piggies and wrapped the remaining in buns and pulled the hair out the ends. I bobby pinned her bun in a few places and added a few bows. Easy!
