To get that split look I left a small piece of her hair out and twisted it. I pinned it under the flower. Just a small touch.

Use your cat tail comb and make sections of hair as you go. I started at the top and worked down.

I took a small section in the middle and twisted it and fastened it with two bobby pins over lapping each other to hold better. This gave it a wavy look from the top. Then I took the two remaining sections on the side and put a non-breaking elastic in the top. I put a small pink clippy in the top to help hold in the elastic. Then I took the hair and did half pull throughs.
